ERG-A-THON

What:             EGR Crew Team Fundraiser

Why:               Crew is a club sport, therefore we do not get any funding from the school. Parents and the community participate in fundraising year-round to help the team get the equipment they need. The Erg-a-thon lets rowers help too!

When:             March 20th, Saturday – 10:45a.m. to 1:00p.m.

The first flight will start at 11:00a.m.

Where:           Breton Village Mall

Who:               All rowers will row 5000 meters

Coxswains will row 3000 meters

Parents and Fans can hop on an erg -- coaches will give you a live demo!

How:               Each rower will be rowing 5000 meters. We will be rotating ergs approximately every 25 minutes.

Rowing will be in groups of 17, with 3-4 flights.

Water and fruit will be provided.

Rowers - attendance is mandatory; however, if you absolutely are not able to be there, please let Coach Stabile know as soon as possible. We would like you to stay the whole time to cheer on your teammates. We also would like you to wear your uniform. You will have spectators and it is a good way to represent your team. If you do not have a uniform yet wear shorts and a blue or gold tee.

Each rower should collect pledges for rowing 5000 meters. Any donation, $10, $25, $100 or more is welcome and ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. You need to collect your pledges and bring them to the Erg-a thon. You will turn them in at a table before you row. The goal is to have every rower collect a minimum of $200.00.
